Blak Psych Space is a team of Indigenous psychologists, dedicated to making high-quality psychological support accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in Australia.

We believe that distance shouldn't be a barrier to getting the help you need, whether you're in a major city, regional area, or remote community we will do our best to support you.

Through secure telehealth technology, we deliver psychology services, therapeutic interventions, clinical supervision, and professional training directly to you, your family and team.

No. We are a private psychology clinic. If you wish to use a GP Mental Health Care Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate.

Our standard fee is $220 per hour. This applies to all individual psychology sessions delivered via Telehealth or face-to-face.

If you have a valid GP Mental Health Care Plan, you may be able to claim your Medicare rebate for your referred sessions.

Payment is due at the time of your appointment and can be made by credit or debit card through our secure booking system.

Yes. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate on psychology sessions. The amount varies depending on your fund and your level of cover. We recommend calling your insurer before your first session to find out what you are entitled to. We can provide you with an invoice to submit your claim.

We welcome clients who are self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS. If you are not sure whether psychology is included in your NDIS plan, contact your support coordinator or plan manager and they can check for you. We are happy to provide a service agreement and invoices that meet NDIS requirements.

 We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. We understand that life happens, especially for those of you managing caring responsibilities or living in areas with unreliable internet.

Please reach out and let us know as early as you can if you cannot attend your appointment.

If you cancel or do not attend with less than 24 hours notice, the usual fee applies.

We are a Telehealth service, however, face-to-face appointments are possible in Brisbane and Perth - please contact us to find out more.
